The degree Celsius (\u00b0C) or degree Fahrenheit (\u00b0F) are most commonly used. In meteorology, measurements follow very specific rules:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\">The sensor is placed in a ventilated white shelter.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\">Approximately 1.5 meters above the ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\">Protected from direct sunlight, rain, and hot surfaces.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">These conditions ensure a reliable measurement of air temperature. Measurements are standardized globally according to World Meteorological Organization (WMO) standards, allowing for data comparison between countries.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">In meteorology, we are also interested in temperature throughout the entire height of the atmosphere. To achieve this, weather balloons equipped with sensors are used to determine altitude temperatures.
